Great News – We are delighted to announce that, following the recent interview, Rev Dean Whitaker, currently Curate in the Benefice of Bridgwater Holy Trinity with Durleigh, has been appointed Priest in Charge of the Alfred Jewel Benefice.
He will be licensed to the benefice by Bishop Michael on Monday 24th February 2025.
A message from Rev Dean to our benefice – Rachael and myself are very much looking forward to returning to a place where we started our married life together, having been married in St Marys North Petherton in 1991.
I am personally excited and looking towards serving the benefice and to what we can all do together to build the Kingdom of God in their communities.
